During the opening scene of Guardians of the Galaxy it shows baby Groot dancing in the midst of a battle his family is fighting. His family is made up of outcast who go across the galaxy fighting crime. Star lord, Drex, Rocket, Gamora, and Baby Groot met when they were hired to stop Star lord from getting the orb that could end the world. Even though this this battle could be life or death for them he is listening to Mr. blue sky without a care in the world. In the first movie Groot was twelve feet tall, He ends up sacrificing himself so save his family. They're all heartbroken about it, in his honor they plant one of his sticks that remains. Groots remains grow into a ten inch baby groot. He has his own language that consists of him only saying “I am groot” His team has learned to communicate with him. Rocket (the racoon) has been lifelong companions with him.
If you watch this scene and aren't anything but happy, you're lying. Watching Groot dance around this battle as it gets more and more intense is the best feeling. Seeing it as you though he was dead in the first movie. Instead of groot protecting his whole team, his team is protecting him. Big Groot is funny, cute, and very overprotective. Baby groot who has all the same characteristics has just lightened up a little bit and is having fun again.

There is a lot going on in the background of the opening scene that could hold its own. Even without baby Goot being the main focus of the whole shot, there is still a lot happening. There's explosions of colors and flashing light to draw your attention to the background.
It’s very hectic and at times when you are watching it if you lose focus you might be completely lost. Even though the background is the main purpose of the scene they only have your attention drawn to in the beginning and end of the scene.
